We hope no hearts were broken this Valentine's Day, but we will be "breaking" into a pig's heart in this lab to better understand the function of our own hearts. Hemophiliacs worry not, no real blood is used in the other half of our program where we discuss what is in our own blood and why knowing your blood type is very important!

Students will be working in groups of up to 5 members sharing 1 specimen for the dissection.
